Bring together records from many users with a shared crew workbook

  • You can gather up work records from the whole farm crew using a shared workbook stored on your Google Drive
  • First, you need to upload the workbook to your Google Drive. Download the workbook template, and upload it to Google Drive. Then open it as a Google Sheets file by right clicking and selecting 'Open with > Google Sheets'
  • Next you can share the workbook with everyone you want to gather records from. With the workbook open in Google Sheets, select 'Share' in the upper right and enter the email addresses of the people you want to share with.
  • You will need to have everybody you are sharing with move the workbook from the 'Shared with me' folder into their own Google Drive. To do this they must log in to their Google Drive, select 'Shared with me' in the menu to the left, right click on the workbook file, and select 'Add to My Drive'.
  • Now you and your crew can start sending data from BeetClock to the crew workbook! To do this, open BeetClock, select 'View/ export records' in the upper right menu bar, and then select 'Export records' in the menu bar.
  • You can send all records since a particular date to the crew workbook by tapping 'Select start date'. If you skip this step, you will send all records since you started using BeetClock.
  • Tap the 'Send records to workbook' button and make sure the 'Crew Workbook' option is blacked in. Then tap 'Sign In' and sign in to your Google account.
  • Choose the name of the crew workbook in your Google Drive by tapping 'Select workbook' and choosing from the list of Google Sheets files in your drive.
  • To send your record to the crew workbook, tap 'Send to workbook'!
